Two Minutes for Slashing

So, I'm all ready to start my last semester in grad school. Keep in mind that I've already completed my thesis and just have one more class of writing to take.

Some background...

Last semester with my Thesis seminar, my professor was super cool about me being late because my boss refused to let me out of work a half-hour early so I wouldn't be late to class. I think the latest I ever was was 20 minutes and that was a bad weather day.

Anyway, so I email my professor for my fiction writing class and tell him how my boss is an ass and won't let me leave early once a week so I won't be late. And he's all like, < lumbergh* >"yeah, that's going to be a problem"</ lumbergh > and for me to talk to him again. Which of course, I tried to do today, but yeah. Not happening.

So this is where I go, "WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO NOW!?!??!"

OK, so I'm gonna email the professor and tell him exactly what my boss said... "I can't allow you to do that. We're (the company) not in the practice of letting people leave early on a consistant basis. It looks quite bad for you."

and then I'm gonna email the graduate advisor and see if this can be worked out. Because I really need to take these classes and graduate this year. Yeah.
