 Why does LJ decide to eat a good portion of a rather long post I was posting???

I'm editing the post in HTML and then flip to the Rich Text editor to find most of my post GONE!

Hey ya'll! Shoulda done this much sooner, but I'm over at LJ at this happy place here.
